NOW THAT SPRING CLEANING SEASON IS HERE, HAVE YOU DECIDED WHAT TO DO WITH THE OLD PRESCRIPTION EYEGLASSES AND SUNGLASSES THAT YOU HAVE STASHED IN YOUR DRAWER? IF YOU’RE NOT GOING TO WEAR THEM, YOU COULD GIVE THE GLASSES TO THE BLOOD TIES FANS RECYCLE FOR SIGHT CAMPAIGN TO BENEFIT THE LIONS CLUB INTERNATIONAL. THROUGHOUT THE MONTH OF MAY, BLOOD TIES FANS ARE COLLECTING UNWANTED EYE WEAR FOR DISTRIBUTION TO THOSE IN NEED IN DEVELOPING COUNTRIES, WHERE THE PEOPLE OFTEN CANNOT AFFORD THE EYE CARE THEY NEED, AND CLEAR VISION IS MERELY A DREAM. YOUR OLD EYEGLASSES CAN HELP TURN SOMEONE’S DREAM INTO A REALITY. TO DONATE YOUR GLASSES, SIMPLY MAKE YOUR PLEDGE AT OUR YOUCHOOSE.NET PAGE AND FOLLOW THE LINK BELOW TO FOR COMPLETE INFORMATION OR CONTACT US AT SAVEBT@GMAIL.COM.
If you have used prescription or nonprescription glasses or sunglasses in your drawers, desks, or closets, PLEASE donate them now! Children’s glasses are especially needed. Are magnifying glasses ok as well? I have I pair I don’t need and would love to donate them if they would be used. If not, I still support this drive, and the whole Save Blood Ties campaign. We need this show back NOW!!!

Glasses damaged beyond repair are not accepted Stephanie. However, if they are usable, send them on in.
Stacy, the instructions I received from Lions Club gave the listings of where to mail the glasses. You would need to check with your local Lion’s about donating them there. For us to get credit, I do need the online form completed regardless of where you send the glasses
