Tanya Huff, author of the “Blood Books” on which Blood Ties is based, has honored our efforts by posting our press release on her LJ site (http://andpuff.livejournal.com/147983.html). The lead character of the Blood books, Vicki Nelson, suffers from retinitis pigmentosa and was the inspiration for this campaign.
We sincerely thank Ms. Huff for helping to spread the word about our Recycle for Sight campaign.

I heard from some friends who didn’t yet know about the eyeglass recycling campaign and they thought it was a fantastic idea!
