In a show of Vampire Solidarity, the fans of Blood Ties and Moonlight are uniting their efforts. All Blood Ties fans are being asked to support the Moonlight Blood Drive and Give Blood To Save A Vampire. At the same time, Moonlight fans are being asked to pledge to donate glasses for the Blood Ties Fans Give Back Lions Club campaign.
This combined effort is the result of a collaboration between the sponsor of the Blood Ties Fans Give Back Drive and the sponsor of the Moonlight Blood Drive. Both drives are being hosted on the YouChoose site and can be accessed by the links below.
If you are a Blood Ties fan donating for Moonlight, please note in your comment and on your Validation form that you are a Blood Ties Fans supporting Moonlight.

This is such a great cause! Unfortunately, I’m not able to give blood until November. But if it isn’t too late, I’ll be making my contribution on behalf Moonlight, as a Blood Ties Fan and a Moonlight Fan.

I spoke with one of the organizers, and she doesn’t mind if you adapt the top of the validation form to a postcard you can print out and then send to Lifetime, as well as the paper versions that will be going to CBS

As the sponsor of the ML Blood Drive, I must say, I wish that I had approached the BT fans sooner to collaborate and combine our efforts.
I have visited your forum over at bloodlines and kudos to all of you for managing to do what some of the MLFan sites don’t do; you all respect each other’s ideas and concerns, you LISTEN to each other and damn you are about the friendliest bunch of people I have ever met (well, not actually met…..).Most important of all: there is no “Head Vamp In Charge” trying to control everyone else!
It is a pleasure to have become a part of your community and to unite with you in mutual support of BOTH our efforts equally!
You are a class act!!!

Now; where can I go to get up to speed on Blood Ties? I have never watched the show, but, based on my impressionof it’s fans, and since we’re showing solidarity here, I’d like to learn about your show………..

Christine, I’m in Canada and I know that the episodes of Blood Ties are not available on the websites of the networks that broadcast the show up here. I’m not sure if Lifetime still has them available or not. I know that you can download them from iTunes if you are in the U.S. Once again, they are not available for download in Canada.

I’m a fan of both Blood Ties and Moonlight…pretty much if vamps are involved, I’m there. I donate blood on a regular basis but can’t again until May 25th. Moonlight is getting attention because it’s on a major network so ya’ll (Moonlight) helping with support is great. Blood Ties and Moonlight fans united can save our shows! As a fan of both shows to everyone helping…fangs for the support.

I am both a fan of Moonlight and Blood Ties. Go fans – Vampire Solidarity! I wish all organizations felt that Solidarity was the way to go. Unfortunately, youchoose.net’s Blood Drive has been extremely horrible in their treatment of other Moonlight Fan sites who wished to join in and help! Some sites were even told they would be held liable for copyright infringement if they used the “Official Name” EVEN to advertise the event so members could participate! I as a fan was shocked and appalled that these people value their own name over helping others! Many fans have set up alternate Charitable drives so that we all can get involved in the real reason we do this – to help others. Visit some Moonlight fan sites and see what they have you can do. RAH RAH RAH!
